What kind of archery?

At Hoverdays we concentrate on groups and individuals with little or no experience. We use medium weighted, recurve bows without sights and long arrows to get the extra velocity. The target are at a distance which allows everyone to at least get a score if they are struggling.

How does a session

work?

The instructor will go through the dos and don'ts with you before giving you loads and loads of practivce. You will be coached individually where necessary and everyone will leave having improved. Following the practice, the archers take part in a scored competition followed by another exercise to finish off.

How long does a session

last?

This depends on which package you book but generally 12 people should allow about 2 hours for the archery and another activity.

Who can keep their

head while shooting

for 1st place?

Archery as part of

a stag or hen weekend.

The archery can be combined with other activities to become part of a day or half day out for your stag or hen weekend. See our choice of packages for prices and booking info.

Archery as part of

a corporate day.

Some people will excel at the motorised activities and some are better suited to activities with less adrenalin but more hand - eye coordination. Archery is always highly competetive and an inexpensive way to combine activities to make a day out to remember

North Wales, Wrexham, Chester, Liverpool, Powys, West midlands, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Telford, Shrewsbury, Nantwich and Staffordshire are all within an hours drive and London takes about 3 hours.
